Farangis Siman, also known as Ashraf Siman, was born in Tehran, Iran, to Abdollah and Iran Siman.
She spent her early years in Tehran, where she completed her elementary education and was raised in a loving environment rooted in family values and tradition.
In later years, she immigrated to the United States and made her home in Los Angeles, California, where she devoted her life to her family and household. She was known for her quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones.
Farangis Siman married Nejatollah Siman. Together they were blessed with three children:

They have two sons: Micah and Matai
- Pantea — married Alex
They have two children: Nava and Noah
- Farzaneh — married Ezra Parsakar

Farangis Siman passed away on July 25, 2019, in Los Angeles, California.
She was laid to rest on July 26, 2019, at Eden Memorial Park, Court of Ephraim Estate, Garden #61. A memorial service honoring her life was held on July 31, 2019, at the Sephardic Temple.
She is remembered with profound love and respect by her family and by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory remains a lasting blessing in the hearts of her family and community.
