Farang Senobar Khoubian

In loving memory of :
**Farang Senobar Khoubian**

Farang Senobar Khoubian was born in the historic city of Kashan, Iran, into a respected and traditional family. She was the beloved daughter of Rabie Haiim and Esther, who raised her with strong moral values, deep faith, and devotion to family and community.

She received her early education at a Hebrew elementary school, where she developed a lasting connection to her religious and cultural heritage. Throughout her life, she remained closely affiliated with synagogues and maintained a sincere and spiritual presence within the Jewish community.

She married Haghnazar Khoubian, and together they were blessed with ten children—five sons and five daughters:

  • Pari
  • Molouk
  • Ester
  • Yafa
  • Ifrah
  • Rabie
  • Ebrahim
  • Esmaeil
  • Ehsan
  • Mousa

Affectionately known as Khanomjoon, Farang Senobar Khoubian was renowned for her exceptional intelligence and remarkable memory. Many believed that, had she been given the opportunity, she could have become a distinguished scholar. Her mind remained sharp, active, and perceptive throughout her life.

She devoted her life to her home and family, fulfilling her role as a dedicated housewife with love, dignity, and selflessness. She was extraordinarily generous and compassionate, especially toward orphans and those less fortunate—perhaps influenced by her own experience of being an orphan.

Khanomjoon was God-fearing, spiritual, positive, and deeply grateful. She constantly expressed thanks to G-d for life’s blessings. Her joyful personality brought happiness to those around her; through humor, singing, and reciting poetry, she filled every gathering with warmth and laughter.

She passed away on 30 Nisan 5783, on the eve of Rosh Chodesh Iyar, in Los Angeles, California, USA, and was laid to rest at Eden Memorial Park, Hebron Section.

A memorial service was held within one week of her passing at Nessah Synagogue (B.H.).

She departed this world with a clear mind and a smile upon her face. She had once expressed her wish that when she would be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Aghajoon, her life should be celebrated with kililili, and that no one should mourn in sorrow.

All who knew her will forever remember the warmth, joy, and laughter she brought into their lives. Her wisdom, faith, happiness, and generosity remain her enduring legacy.

May her memory be a blessing.
