**Yaghoub Nourizad**

Yaghoub Nourizad was born on March 20, 1925, in the historic city of Isfahan, Iran.

He was the son of Asher and Miriam. Raised in a traditional Iranian Jewish family, he grew up with strong values of faith, integrity, and devotion to family and community.

He completed his high school education, which prepared him for the responsibilities he later carried in both public service and business.

During the years of war, Yaghoub served as an English translator for the army, using his language skills to assist communication during difficult times.

Later he entered the field of commerce and worked in the export of Persian carpets to Europe, participating in one of Iran’s most respected traditional trades.

Yaghoub Nourizad maintained a deep connection with his Jewish faith and community. He served as a Hazan (cantor) of the Abrishami Synagogue in Tehran, contributing to the spiritual life of the congregation.

Yaghoub married Ezat Nourizad, and together they built a loving home and family. Their marriage was blessed with six children.

Yaghoub Nourizad passed away on September 16, 2005, in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He was laid to rest on September 16, 2005 at Eden Memorial Park.

A memorial ceremony was held at Nessah Synagogue on September 22, 2005, where family and friends gathered to honor his life and legacy.

Yaghoub Nourizad will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was defined by faith, dignity, and dedication to family.
