**In memory of Yousef Sasson**
(1928 – 2005)
Yousef Sasson, who was born in 1928 in Tehran, Iran, and passed away in 2005 in Tehran. He was laid to rest at Beheshtieh Cemetery in Tehran.
Yousef was the son of Ebrahim (Avraham) Sasson and Touba. He lived a humble life rooted in hard work. With an elementary education, he became a skilled saddler by profession. He remained devoted to his traditions and community throughout his life.
Yousef married Tavous Khanom Shirian. They built a beautiful family and were blessed with five children:
- Eshagh Isaac Sasson – born in Iran, lives in New York. Married Yafa Sadighim. They have two children: Darya and Arshia.
- Ebrahim Avraham Sasson – born and lives in Iran. Married Azita. They have two children: Arman and Arina.
- Albert Sasson – born in Iran, lives in Israel. Married Vered. They have three children: Karen, Offer, and Shoval.
- Mitra Sasson – born in Iran. Married and has two children: Maya and Michel.
- Mojgan Sasson – born in Iran. She has two children: Tahila and Yaron.
